The NIH report says that there have been “more than 13,000 clinical trials” of new technology and that only about 1,000 of them have resulted in the approval of drugs. That’s less than 0.1 percent of all FDA-approved drugs.
A lot of the big biotechnology companies are trying to get into the cell business, so that it can help them fight diseases and increase the effectiveness of their vaccines, which could significantly reduce the need for doctors. The latest research shows that some of the cells and tissues used in cell and tissue therapy are similar to human cells and tissues. So cell and tissue transplantation can be done using cells and tissues from other donors.

Basically, these cells are being attached to the skin and injected into the person’s bloodstream.

This is a huge part of the story, but the movie has plenty of references to it, and it’s worth watching.
As a matter of fact, there is a lot of talk about cytotechnology in the movie. But since this is a movie about the process of getting implants, the movie is very clear about the fact that the implants have to go into the body via surgery, which is not a topic that we deal with in our day-to-day life.
